Features
  • Well balanced camera head
The camera head, made of aluminium, provides proper balance and increased maneuverability.

  • High resolution and high S/N ratio
Using 213-inch FIT CCD's with 450,000 pixels, the HK-355 features a horizontal resolution of 800 TV lines (V ch) , a vertical resolution of 400 TV lines, and a high SIN ratio of 62dB.

  • Easy maintenance
The HK-355 saves camera adjustment and maintenance time by eliminating the need for registration, geometry, and other time-consuming adjustments. The camera head also employs mother board construction within modules.

  • Newly developed LPF
A high-sensitivity prism is employed. A newly developed six-directional optical LPF is incorporated to suppress false signals inherent in the CCD sampling process. The resolution rivals 30mm tube cameras.

  • 3-DTL
Three-channel vertical detail correction is incorporated and provides for color objects lacking the green component. A complete MIX DTL is also provided to suppress the DTL- induced moire.

  • Optical axis adjustment
The HK-355 has a newly-developed feature that allows adjustment of the optical axis of the prism block, so that the center of the lens and the CCD are correctly aligned. This function gives full correction of optical axis, especially when a lens with high magnification is used .

  • Electronic shutter
The continuously variable electronic shutter is provided for the range of 1/60-5000 sec.

  • Highlight compression
Highlight compression allows the camera to handle high scene contrasts.

  • Linear matrix
Incorporating a linear matrix circuit, the HK-355 has ideal color analysis and obtains images with superior color fidelity from dark to highlight areas of the picture.

  • Color corrector
Since the hue nad saturation can be controlled separately for each of the R, G, B, C, M, and y color vectors, tones can be finely tuned in greater detail.

  • Auto color corrector
When multiple cameras are to be use<4; the color reproduction data stored in one preadjusted camera can be used as a reference to provide automatic color matching for other camera heads in synchronized operation. This facilitates the previously timeconsuming process of color matching.

  • Auto level setup

  • The HK-355P portable camera, may be connected to the same type of base station, but may also be used as a stand- alone or with an on board VTR. Furthermore this camera can be used with full build-up kit for long focal length lens operation. (System Diagram)

  • Self-diagnosis system
In the event of camera head or base station trouble the self- diagnosis system alerts the operator, prompting him to take corrective action.

  • Adaptation to various cables
Three types of cables, triaxial, multiconductor, and fiber glass, can be selectively used by merely replacing a module, so that a suitable cable can be selected for particulqr applica- tions. Especially, the triaxial cable permits wide-band signal transmission, thus ensuring high-resolution video on the base station side . Maximum extendable distance:

  • Triaxal cable: Fujikura (8.5mm dia.) : 800m
  • Triaxal cable: Fujikura (14.5mm dia.) : 1600m
  • Fiber glass cable: Fujikura G2 80/125 : 3000m
  • Multiconductor cable: 28-conductor: 600m
  • A variety of control panels can be connected to the base station to accommodate different styles of operation. The MCP (Maintenance Control Panel) is dedicated to maintenance purposes. When used in conjunction with the CSU (Camera Select Unit) , up to 40 cameras are at the beck and call of a single MCP. By the use of the RS-232C interface, camera conditions can be printed out so that easy and exact control of date can be maintained. The CCP (Camera Control Panel) is designed to operate in conjunction with one camera and serves the double purpose of maintenance and camera operation control. OCP (Operation Control Panel) serves the single purpose of camera operation control.
