The Ikegami's HC-200 is a compact, lightweight, high-class 3 CCD color camera for ENG and EFP. Its design incorporates an efficient 1/2-inch CCD which ensures high performance, ease of operation and high stability as well. The HC-200 is an extraordinary multi purpose color camera. It features a quality picture with low smear, CCD precision fixing technique, low-noise preamplifier and highlight compression. It also provides a variety of high-accuracy automatic controls by a microcomputer. Further, it has a character display on the viewfinder, including a highly effec- tive status display to prevent error operation. The camera can be used in conjunction with S- VHS portable VCR directly. It ensures easy on-board VCR operation. The HC-200 is provided with a full-line of accessories. It allows for a wide variety of services, including the connection of y / C separate output signal for S- VHS and the connection of a VCR com- ponent signal type for use of a BETACAM and M II, as well as services of ENG and EFP.

Features
- 3 CCD
The HC-200 uses a high-efficiency CCD and a number of advanced video circuits. It assures a horizontal resolution of 530 lines or more and a signal-to-noise-ratio of higher than 58dB. It can be used in illumination as low as 20 lux minimum for f1.4 with +18dB gain. The CCD greatly reduces vertical smear, moire, ringing and fixed-pattern noise, thereby providing a high-quality picture. - Electronic Shutter
The HC-200 has an electronic variable shutter that not only allows you to shoot a subject moving at a high speed, but it also removes fluorescent light flicker by" using 1/100 or 1/120 sec shutter speed. - Auto-knee
Improves the contrast handling capability under any amount of incident light. - Comprehensive Design for Combined Use
The S-VHS and S-VHS-C VCR can be directly connected to the camera head for easy use as a combined VCR-camera. Op- tional adapters allow the camera to integrate with a BETACAM VCR. Even with the VCR connected, most of the camera func- tions, such as remote control still work with on-board VCR. - Allowance for Various VCRs
The HC-200 can have a y /C separate output and component signal output (option) .These features allow for connection with many VCRs, including S-VHS, BETACAM, MIl and U-matic as well. - Microcomputer Control
The microcomputer incorporated provides many accurate con- trol features so the camera can be in good working condition without annoying adjustments. - Efficient 1.5-inch Viewfinder
The built-in 1.5" viewfinder with high-resolution CRT provides a clear, stable picture. It has a visual control and positioning feature to adjust for each cameraperson. The viewfinder can face upright for easy carrying of the camera head. - Low Power Consumption
The camera adapter with a 1.9Ah battery allows the camera to run for more than 1 hour. - Lens Compatibility
The lens mount is a standard 1/2-inch mount that provides compatibility with many lenses such as HC-230s. - Microphone
The low-noise AGC amplifier incorporated can automatically control gain from the microphone for optimum level recording.
